The Honorable Minister of Home Affairs of India, Shri Amit Shah watched the glorious tale of the life and daring of the last Hindu king, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, at a special screening held for him in New Delhi. Actor Akshay Kumar along with leading lady of film Manushi Chhillar and director Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi were also present for the screening.
Samrat Prithviraj is Yash Raj Films’ historical debut, which is based on the life and valor of the fearless and mighty King Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar tries out the role of the legendary warrior who fought valiantly to protect India‘s freedom from the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor in this visual spectacle. Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s bravery against the ruthless invaders and looters of India is part of Indian folklore and this film intends to salute the king’s spirit in the most glorious way.
