The memorandum of understanding was signed on Wednesday at the university. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of SPPU, Prof. Nitin Karmalkar, Vice Chancellor Pro, Prof. NS Umarani, Registrar Prafulla Pawar, Director of the International Center Vijay Khare and Director of the American Institute of Indian Studies Anil Inamdar were present.
Under this MoU, students will be sponsored by the institute and expenses will be covered by the American Institute of Indian Studies. Apart from this, membership fees, travel expenses and all other facilities will be provided to the students. All accommodation costs will be covered by the organization. “Students from western countries are expected to get Indian higher education which will help Indian culture to spread in the world, that is why such an agreement is made by the university.” said Vijay Khare, director of the SPPU International center.
